Possible outcomes for the WWE Universal Championship match at Summerslam

Alright, Slick Flair back with another major topic to discuss.

 

In one corner, we have Crossfit Jesus. In the other corner with have the Demon King (Anybody else thought they said Demon Kane on Raw a few times?). Anyway, this is probably going to end the PPV. It’s a new belt, has Seth Rollins in the match & an emerging star in Finn Balor who has defeated Rusev (the US champion) & Roman Reigns in the same night clean. 

With that said, I just would like to run across a couple possible scenarios I can see play out during the match’s finish.

Outcome #1 – Seth goes over clean in a hard fought match. Forces Finn to “work his way back up” to the main title scene like some people want. Seth starts a new feud the next night. Finn does the same & stays a face. 

Outcomes #2 – Finn gets the win clean. Fulfills the fastest rise to the main event belt in years, probably ever. Offers a handshake at the end of the match to Seth & Seth blows him off. Seth goes on Raw the next night to call Finn’s win a fluke & the chase begins. More Finn vs. Seth storyline for a couple months.

Outcome #3 – The double turn. I love this outcome of course. As the match is heading towards the finish, we see Gallows & Andersan come out (with the ref knocked out already obviously) to jump Seth & hit their finisher on him. This leaves Finn open to doing the Coupe de Grace. Boom!, instant heel heat aligning yourself with Gallows & Andersan who most likely takes out one of the biggest babyface groups in WWE history earlier in the night for the tag titles & Boom!, instant star. As seen on his new shirts, “Bulletproof Balor Club” has arrived. They leave Summerslam with all the gold.

 

OUTCOME #4 – What if Vince wants to give us a major twist? Something we don’t see coming? Gallows & Andersan comes out to a major pop with everybody anticipating the Balor Club debut & then something out of left field happens…….Seth is the new leader of the Club.

Either way, this match will be very critical to the main event scene from here until Wrestlemania imo. What are some of your thoughts on how this match will go? How will it end? Will there be a double turn? Will it be a clean finish? Will there be an ultimate swerve?
