TNA Impact
Impact Wrestling
I admit it. I am a TNA fan. I loved the main event mafia. I liked the time with Hulk Hogan. But I’m not a match guy. I like stories. I have a hard time watching something like the CWC ort ROH, even tho the matches are good, it just doesn’t get me. In TNA I lost interest last year, because it really wasn’t good anymore.
But right now its the best wrestling show since the attitude era shows. Especially this weeks Impact (September, 1st) was outstanding. I couldn’t miss one match at this Impact. It was just good from start to finish. The opening with Bennet and Lashley, with Moose not saying where his loyalty is, got me excited. The Hardy stuff was also really good. They went to the zone of impact and you could already tell that something isn’t right. It’s like a horror story. Very good stuff. And of course the KO-title change was one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. First creating such a feel good moment, then suddenly changing to a ultimate heel story with Allie have to lay down. This even worked the Impact Zone fans, who are always the same ones and are not easy to impress anymore. And the other matches weren’t filler. We had a ultimate X match and I can’t help myself than to be a DJ Z fan, I love his entrance, it is so good. We had a high profile Match EC3 vs. Eli Drake. They even put some meaning into this match when Eli Drake said a win would put him into the title picture after EC3 became champion.
I wish Billy Corgan can hold on to this product and will be able to get more viewers. I can’t even watch it here in Austria on regular TV, I have to get it from somewhere else… The #1 priority for TNA right now must be that Impact is available in all households in the key markets. And our priority must be to spread the word that TNA is good again, I would even say Corgan made TNA great again!
